lessons from the reef,
form iterations

2025

This library chronicles the extensive design development phase of my 2025 RMIT Honours project, focusing specifically on the structural evolution of the domestic objects. Following a pivot from theoretical research into the creation of a dedicated homewares collection, I established a rigorous, iterative workflow to test the boundaries of functional sculpture.

To ensure that initial evaluations focused entirely on silhouette, proportion, and form, each prototype in this primary sequence is presented in a uniform, matte white. This stark treatment strips away the distraction of color to highlight the nuances of edge and volume.

Concluding the page is a collection of highly stylized digital renderings. Originally generated for the weekly Wednesday crit sessions to pitch new directions to peers and faculty, these environmental visualizations contextualize the forms within simulated spaces.
